The Missing Entrance
What did the witnesses actually see?
MYSTERY GAMES
Celebrated performer Nell Arden enters a freestanding stage cabinet. Its doors open on cue. The cabinet is empty—but Nell never reaches the planned reveal, and the agreed signal never arrives.
You are the theatre incident investigator. Find Nell, work out how the act was changed, and establish who is responsible. The affected equipment is stopped while you reconstruct the rehearsal and direct a supported search.

Fictional confinement, deliberate interference and workplace conflict. No graphic injury, reflex timer or sound-only clue. Reading and thinking do not put Nell at risk. Progress stays in this browser. Optional device narration reads visible transcripts; it is not a performed cast recording.
Move between the auditorium, stage, control booth, scenery workshop, dressing corridor and safe service landing. The geography stays fixed; what you can establish about it changes.
Try a viewing position, replay a cue or compare a fitting. A test reports what happens. Deciding which explanation survives is your work.

What did the witnesses actually see?
Did the stage behave as its operators expected?
How did the operators become part of the change?
Which explanation accounts for the disappearance?
Where did Nell’s route end, and how can the search reach her?
Bring Nell out, then demonstrate what was done to her.
Coordinate the trained crew, preserve the mechanism’s necessary conditions and bring Nell out. Then build a safe demonstration that separates the routing cause from the strongest remaining alternative.
The same underlying truth supports three conclusions. Your deliberate public choices affect how the company receives the findings and whether private material stays private. Hints and ordinary mistakes do not secretly block an ending.
Completion time and difficulty have not been measured with independent first-time players.
